We pride ourselves in providing students with excellent teaching and support that allows them to explore the diverse career options offered by psychology. The team here have a range of expertise as academics and practitioners. We would like to build our team with individuals keen to advance teaching and learning for themselves and others. We are particularly keen to build expertise around qualitative, social psychology and/or health psychology. This part-time teaching role comes with support for achieving HEA fellowship.
Main duties and responsibilities
The role involves supporting the teaching and assessment activities within the subject group. You will work alongside lecturers in the design and delivery of engaging teaching and assessment. You will work with undergraduate and postgraduate students, supporting their learning and pastoral care.
Skills and experience required
You will have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in a variety of formats to different audiences. You will be able to demonstrate initiative and have the ability to learn new skills. You will have good IT skills and have the ability to deal with conflicting priorities.
Qualifications required
You will be educated with a minimum of an undergraduate degree or equivalent in Psychology or a related discipline or equivalent experience. Ideally you should hold a postgraduate degree.
