Part of the team delivering University transition activities, this role will lead on the development and delivery of post-arrival transitional activities, helping students to assimilate to life at university. With a focus on Halls of Residence, this role will lead our Residence Life provision by supporting students in their transition to independent living. Through a programme of events, activities, and campaigns, it aims to build supportive hall communities, create opportunities for connection, and address common conduct issues.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organisational skills, thriving under pressure and excelling at meeting deadlines without compromising on quality. They have a proven ability to juggle multiple tasks while maintaining high standards and meticulous attention to detail. Their outstanding interpersonal abilities enable them to; engage with people at various levels; and cultivate positive working relationships both externally and internally. They demonstrate empathy and understanding of individuals’ circumstances, ensuring confidentiality, and act responsibly and ethically at all times.
