We are looking to appoint a postdoctoral researcher, to work with a group of UK Higher Education Institutions to deliver a programme of mental health research. The work is funded by the Medical Research Council and led by the University of Exeter (you will report to Professor Kate Saunders in Oxford). The post is based in the Department of Psychiatry at the Warneford Hospital Oxford.
The post is for a fixed term (funded until 31 March 2026)
You will coordinate of survey studies across all partner institutions, including design, delivery and evaluation of a Mental Health Literacy Course and recruitment to trials of student-specific digital interventions. You will receive training and supervision from Professor Kate Saunders and will work closely with other members of the research team including our partner organizations. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the early stage of their research career to join a well-established team of researchers.
You will have or be close to the completion of a PhD in Psychology or a relevant area along with experience of collecting data from research participants. With excellent data analytic skills, you will be familiar with SPSS and at least one programming language. Experience of working directly with students, and in university settings would be desirable.
