The Business Intelligence and Insight team is at the heart of decision making at the university. As part of the Strategy, Planning & Performance department, we provide data, insight and advice that supports inform the direction and priorities of the institution. We’re now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst (Market Insight) to join our growing team and help enhance our understanding of student recruitment performance.
In this role, you’ll work with a range of internal and external datasets to monitor recruitment trends, provide insight into the size and shape of the university’s academic portfolio, and act as the data lead for the university’s access targets as set out in our new Access & Participation Plan. The role also supports the university wider ethos of widening access through recruitment.
You’ll also play a key role in communicating your insights to a range of stakeholders, including members of the Executive Board and colleagues across our Colleges, translating complex data into compelling stories to support action and decision making.
We’re looking for a skilled and curious data analyst who enjoys working with complexity and sees the bigger picture. You’ll have experience in data storytelling and visualisation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive meaning from large datasets to generate clear, high-quality insight that makes a difference.
