Applications are invited for this post which is to cover a period of maternity leave. This is a temporary position, for 12 months or the return to work of the postholder, whichever is earlier.
The Deputy Lead for Assessment provides support for all aspects of the work of the Clinical Sub-Dean for Assessment; helping in the development of assessment within the Clinical School; and deputising for the Sub-Dean as necessary. The appointee will take the lead for specific aspects of assessment (under the supervision of the Sub-Dean) depending on their areas of expertise, following discussion with the Sub-Dean for Assessment and the Clinical Dean.
The role is based in the Education Division Offices of the Clinical School and attracts 2PA of funding (paid at the appropriate rate with respect to seniority. Candidates must hold a substantive NHS appointment at Consultant or work as a General Practitioner in the Eastern region. All candidates must have full registration with the GMC, and hold a license to practice.

This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.
