Background
The Maintenance Team operate within the Maintenance Department to maintain M&E equipment & services. The team is tasked with Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance of all systems on the University Estate.
Responsibilities
Carrying out mechanical maintenance both reactive and planned on a range of equipment including AHU’s, piped and ducted systems, pumps, pressurisation units, plumbing and pipefitting. Also working towards or hold a gas safe certification.
Person Specification
Appropriate City and Guilds Certificate and/or Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship. Must be able to demonstrate a range of M&E skills and experience.
Relevant experience as a heating and ventilation fitter/building services, or equivalent working on the mechanical services installations within buildings on a large estate. Gas safe accredited qualification
