About the role
Performance Research is one of five TORCH Headline Hubs that are points of synergy for cutting-edge, boundary crossing research which are central to Humanities.
Each TORCH Research Hub is supported by a post-graduate coordinator who plays a key role in the administration and organisation of Hub activity. The post offers an exciting opportunity for a postgraduate student or postdoctoral researcher to get involved in wide reaching interdisciplinary research and to contribute to the shaping of a major hub. You will be responsible for organising regular meetings, ensuring good communication with stakeholders, helping to organise and publicise events and ensuring an up to date online presence for the hub.
About you
You will be a current postgraduate student or postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford with a research focus that is relevant to Performance, and a good understanding of the current issues covered by the Hub.
You will need good networking and people skills including working with senior academic leaders, administrative staff and other students. You must have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload. Accuracy, attention to detail and versatility are essential to provide effective administrative support as necessary.
