The role sits within the Engagement Team within REE. The team is a cross-cutting team that serves the whole of the service as well as the wider university. The team plays a pivotal role in building connections between UWE Bristol & our broader community, including alumni, businesses, and researchers. Our team is dedicated to promoting the university's work and building strong, mutually beneficial relationships that help drive innovation, collaboration, and community development.

About you
We are looking for someone who is happy to work as part of a team but can also work independently. It’s important that you’re comfortable managing your own workload and can be proactive to find work when needed. You’ll feel comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders and at times working to a deadline. Building relationships with our academics is going to be a crucial part of this role so we are looking for someone who is a confident networker.
We are looking for someone with varied comms experience, preferably in a large complex organisation. We’d also like someone who is comfortable producing content and assets for social media. You’ll need to be able to take complex research and simplify it for a mass audience.
