The Royal Veterinary College (RVC), a global leader in veterinary education and research, is seeking a strategic Cyber Security Manager to safeguard our digital environment. Working with the Head of Cyber Security and Governance, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our cyber security strategy, ensuring the integrity and resilience of our systems, data, and infrastructure.
Working across departments you will lead responses to incidents, manage day-to-day cyber security operations and risks, and champion a culture of security awareness. We are looking for:
Proven experience of managing cyber security, perhaps in a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, and threat mitigation
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
