Annual Leave: 25 days plus standard public holidays and an additional 4 days including the closure of our offices between Christmas and New Year.

Main duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Events Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination and delivery of UK student recruitment and corporate events that enhance the University’s profile and student experience. This will include assisting in event logistics, managing communications with stakeholders, supporting virtual and in-person delivery, and maintaining key records through the CRM system. You’ll also play a key role in post-event evaluation and contribute to continuous improvement processes. Flexibility is essential, as the role will involve occasional evening and weekend working. 

Skill and experience required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they have experience planning and delivering events, preferably within an academic or corporate setting. You will have the ability to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholder as well as excellent organisational and time management skills. You must have the ability of work under pressure, multi-task and be able to adapt to changing circumstances. In addition, a proactive, flexible and collaborative approach to teamwork is required. You must be able to demonstrate IT proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office and CRM systems. You must be able to show motivation for event coordination and stakeholder engagement. 

Qualifications required

A-Levels or equivalent qualification are required. A degree or working towards a degree in Events Management, Business, Marketing or related work experience would be an advantage
