Clinical Research Associate in Non-invasive Cardiovascular or Invasive Coronary Artery Imaging
Applications are open for a Clinical Research Associate position to work on projects in invasive coronary artery imaging. You will be based at the Victor Phillip Dahdaleh Heart & Lung Research Institute (VPD-HLRI) at the University of Cambridge, with research at the VPD-HLRI, Cambridge University, Addenbrooke's and Royal Papworth Hospitals. Our research is at the forefront of the field, connecting ground-breaking discovery science with cutting-edge clinical and experimental medicine trials in a collaborative and innovative research environment. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who wishes to undertake a dedicated period of research training and contribute to an exciting and ambitious research programme.
Candidates at different stages of clinical training are welcome to apply but they will ideally have an interest in sub-specialty training in invasive coronary artery imaging. Candidates must be medically qualified clinical trainees (pre-CCT) who are registered or eligible to register with the GMC in the UK. Successful applicants will be encouraged to pursue a higher degree with the University (MD or PhD) as part of their research training.
For more information, please contact either Professor Martin Bennett (mrb24@cam.ac.uk) or PA: Irena Brückner (imb39@medschl.cam.ac.uk). Details of current research projects and recent publications can be found here (https://www.hlri.cam.ac.uk/people/principal-Investigators-cardiovascular-Health)
