The school
Occupational Therapy is a fundamental component of the School of Science, Technology & Health, alongside other provision in Allied Health, Biomedical Science, Nursing and Sport.
The discipline area is highly regarded, holding both RCOT and HCPC accreditation and offers undergraduate and postgraduate pre-registration degrees and research degrees with good regional connections alongside a welcoming and inclusive teaching and learning ethos.
The role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic academic leader with a strong research profile to join our occupational therapy team as Professor of Occupational Therapy. You will provide academic leadership in research and professional engagement, and play a pivotal role in the strategic development of the occupational therapy programmes here at YSJ. The role holder will have principal responsibility for developing and leading occupational therapy research at York St John, building a strong research culture and developing a profile at national and international level. The candidate will have a track record of attracting funding and successfully supporting postgraduate research students.
