Join the Impact Team as a Senior Impact Officer and play a key role in driving the real-world impact of Aston University's research.
In this central role, you will contribute to the delivery of the University’s impact strategy by supporting the planning, development, and demonstration of real-world impact arising from our research – primarily within College of Health & Life Sciences and the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences.
You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across teams, manage relevant impact databases, and provide expert advice on impact pathways and appropriate forms of research impact evidence. Additionally, you’ll deliver tailored training to staff at all career stages, identify opportunities to strengthen and broaden our impact portfolio, and support the development, documentation, and communication of impact for research assessment exercises such as the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
We’re looking for someone passionate about research impact who can help foster a positive, inclusive, and sustainable impact culture across the University.
