Brunel University of London is a technical university, with a strong social mission. Back in the 60’s we were the first university to offer year-long work placements, and we’ve meant business ever since. Today, our academics include top scientists, engineers, UN rapporteur, government advisers and award-winning writers. As a top 40 research-intensive university, we partner with peers across the world to tackle society’s biggest challenges – from climate change to health inequality.

The UK Student Recruitment Team at Brunel University of London is responsible for promoting the University to prospective students across the UK. The team engages with schools, colleges, and communities to increase awareness and applications to Brunel’s diverse range of programmes.

We are seeking two Recruitment Officers to join our UK Student Recruitment Team. The successful candidates will represent Brunel at Higher Education fairs, school visits, and open days, delivering presentations and engaging with prospective students and their influencers. They will organise STEM outreach and widening access activities, support the recruitment and training of Student Ambassadors, and contribute to programmes such as Urban Scholars.

Essential competencies include strong communication and presentation skills, experience in student recruitment or outreach, knowledge of the UK education system, and the ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends. A full UK driving licence is desirable.

We offer a generous annual leave package plus discretionary University closure days, excellent training and development opportunities as well as a great occupational pension scheme and a range of health-related support. The University is committed to a hybrid working approach.

Closing date for applications: Monday 1 September 2025 [midnight].

Interviews will take place: w/c 8 September 2025.
