The UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST) has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Project Coordinator with experience in the global health sector and working in the context of infectious disease outbreaks in low- and middle countries (LMICs).
The post-holder will be responsible for providing efficient administrative, logistical and financial support from set up to closure; a portfolio of research projects within the UK Public Health Rapid Support Team (UK-PHRST), an innovative government-academic partnership funded by the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and co-led by UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM).
The post is part-time 0.8 FTE or full-time 1.0 FTE and fixed-term until 31st March 2026. The post is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care and is available from and is available from 01 September 2025.
The salary will be on the LSHTM salary scale, Grade 5 in the range £39,432-£45,097 per annum pro rata inclusive (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the LSHTM terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at LSHTM.
