The Warwick Mathematics Institute invites applications for the post of Assistant or Associate Professor, to start in September 2026. We are open to applications in all areas of pure and applied mathematics; those working in more applied areas with real-world applications are particularly encouraged to apply.
Associate Professorships are permanent appointments and usually for those who already have a well-established track record in research and significant lecturing experience. Those appointed at the Assistant level are supported through a five-year probationary period to enable them to fulfil the criteria for promotion to Associate Professor.
About You
All applicants should hold a PhD and have already demonstrated excellence and independence in research along with an ability to teach effectively.
We aim to appoint somebody who can make a strong contribution to both our research and our teaching, and who will make the most of the opportunities provided by our lively and vibrant departmental culture.
