Applications are invited for a Project Officer role at the Heat Pipe Research Group of Brunel, University of London. The Project Officer will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day coordination and administrative support of the GeoFlexHeat project, an EU-funded initiative focused on developing flexible and sustainable geothermal heating systems across Europe. Reporting to the Project Coordinator or relevant academic lead, the postholder will support a wide range of project activities including consortium coordination, report preparation, milestone tracking, and communication and dissemination. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the Project Officer will ensure timely delivery of project outputs in line with EU funding requirements. The role involves liaising with European project partners, assisting in budget tracking and compliance, and maintaining project documentation and communications channels. The postholder will help facilitate the delivery of project events, meetings, and publications that contribute to the impact and visibility of the College’s research agenda. This is a part-time position suited to a proactive and detail-oriented individual with experience in EU project support and an interest in sustainability, energy systems, or applied research.

The successful applicant will be joining the Heat Pipe and Thermal Management Research Group, led by Professor Hussam Jouhara, to provide coordination and administrative support for the GeoFlexHeat project. Working closely with the academic team and European partners, the Project Officer will play a key role in managing communication, reporting, and dissemination activities related to the project. The role will also involve supporting the organisation of project meetings, maintaining documentation, and ensuring alignment with the project’s scientific and administrative objectives. The successful candidate will contribute to the smooth delivery of project milestones and actively participate in collaborative activities with other European project partners.
