The role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Mental Health First Aid Instructor (part-time contract at upto 18 hours/week)to deliver accredited MHFA training to students and staff. The postholder will support the university’s efforts to raise mental health awareness, build a network of trained Mental Health First Aiders, and help foster a compassionate, supportive campus culture.

You are confident in delivering structured training, yet flexible in your approach—adapting your style to suit different audiences and learning needs. You value evidence-based practice, understand the nuances of working within an educational institution, and are committed to supporting a mentally healthy university culture.
Your emotional intelligence, professionalism, and collaborative nature make you a trusted presence in wellbeing conversations, and you’re motivated by helping others build the confidence to support themselves and those around them.
