About the Role

You will play a key role in coordinating operational delivery for this multi-institutional programme. Reporting to the WOH Programme Director and based within the Faculty Administration team, you will work closely with colleagues across partner organisations. You will support the student experience by organising training and events, maintaining accurate student records, and ensuring smooth delivery of core programme activities.

You will also lead on administration, stakeholder engagement, and communications.

This is a collaborative role acting as a key contact for WOH students, supervisors, academic and industrial partners, and internal teams. The post is based at our Guildford campus, with hybrid working available. A minimum of 60% of your time is expected to be on-site to support collaboration and project delivery. Applications from candidates seeking part-time work are welcome; the role is up to four days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the annual cycle of events, including Welcome Week, celebration days, recruitment, and training activities
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, outcomes and EDI data
  • Manage the WOH flexible fund, including transfers to partners and payments for stipends and research expenses
  • Work with marketing teams to maintain the WOH website and generate content
  • Liaise with Finance and Admissions teams to support smooth delivery of studentships
  • Support best practice in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion alongside the EDI lead

About You

You will be proactive, organised, and collaborative, with:

  • Experience in project or programme coordination, ideally in research, higher education, or public health
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accurate record keeping
  • A solution-focused mindset and commitment to student development and partnership working
