The role
We are inviting applications for the role of Director of Faculty Operations within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences. This critical position offers a unique opportunity to lead all aspects of Faculty operations ensuring that the faculty is well positioned to support excellence across all our areas of activity, including education and research activities.
About the role
The Director of Faculty Operations leads the delivery of strategic Faculty objectives through innovative, inclusive and entrepreneurial ways. Reporting to the Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean, the post holder will have operational leadership of all aspects of the Faculty.
About you
To be successful in this role you will draw on established leadership experience. You are likely to be an inspiring and inclusive manager who can articulate a compelling vision for Faculty professional services and technical staff excellence as well as being able to inspire confidence and engagement across the wider academic community. We work collaboratively and your role will be key to ensuring alignment between Schools, Faculty, University and stakeholder expectations.
