We are seeking a strategic Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations of Northchild Group. This key leadership role will oversee the financial strategy and operations of our education ventures, including the UoP London Campus. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the Group’s financial future, driving sustainable growth, and ensuring robust financial governance across all entities.

Key Responsibilities:

We’re looking for an accomplished Group CFO to lead Northchild Group’s financial vision and operations, focusing on our education ventures and the UoP London Campus. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, you will be instrumental in setting strategic direction, managing multi-million-pound budgets, and ensuring sound financial governance that supports sustainable growth and innovation.

  • Develop and execute a financial strategy that aligns with our ambitious business goals.
  • Oversee comprehensive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis across all subsidiaries.
  • Manage cash flow, capital, and liquidity to secure financial stability and fuel growth.
  • Lead financial oversight of the UoP London Campus project, ensuring budget adherence and efficient resource allocation.
  • Present clear, insightful financial reports at board-level meetings to guide critical decisions.
  • Provide trusted strategic financial counsel to the executive leadership team.
  • Ensure full compliance with IFRS and all relevant financial regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with investors, auditors, and financial institutions globally.
  • Optimise tax planning, risk management, and treasury activities.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven CFO experience or equivalent senior financial leadership.
  • Deep expertise in corporate finance, financial planning, and strategic leadership.
  • Experience in education sector finance or managing large, diverse budgets 
  • Thorough knowledge of IFRS and financial regulatory frameworks.
  • Outstanding leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a record of delivering financial performance improvements.
  • Professional accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and a relevant degree.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in higher education, property development, or large infrastructure projects.
  • Comfortable communicating and collaborating with business units in Canada, China, and Singapore.

Salary: £54,000 to £72,000 (£90,000 - £120,000 Full Time Equivalent)
