It represents a long-term commitment of £80 million from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), to support excellence and collaboration in heritage and conservation science.
To deliver this exciting new programme, AHRC has established the RICHeS Infrastructure Headquarters (IHQ) to support the team in managing the programme on a day-to-day basis. Based in Daresbury, Cheshire, the team is responsible for managing the investment, engaging with the heritage science community, and measuring the impacts of the investment. Some of the key activities for the team include supporting grant holders, designing and delivering future funding opportunities, managing the RICHeS subdomain website, and capturing programme- and project-level impacts.
