About us
The UCL Centre for Languages & International Education (CLIE) is an established specialist teaching centre within UCL’s Faculty, the Institute of Education (IOE). It offers a wide range of programmes including modern foreign language credit-bearing modules and academic English modules for UCL students. CLIE provides a range of degree preparation and summer courses for international students; evening language courses for UCL students, staff and externals. CLIE is also home to the UCL Academic Communication Centre (ACC) and the UCL Summer School.
About the role
The role is based in the UCL CLIE, which is the academic and administrative home for the module, but would have close links with the UCL Grand Challenges team and participate in some of its activities
The Module Leader will be responsible for finalising the operational aspects and implementation of the new module, then delivering it via UCL Summer School (2026) and during term two of the academic year 2026/27 and 2027/28.
This post is 0.6 FTE. The salary is UCL Grade 8 spinal point 39 (£54,931 per annum pro rata, including London Allowance).
A successful candidate ideally will be able to start in September or as soon as possible afterwards.
