Your Profile
We are looking for someone who is eager and capable of navigating the expanding field of (AI-based) image generation in all of its new forms, and also can provide guidance in the practice of camera- photography and who brings the sensitivity and experience of artistic practice.
In addition to the desire and willingness to teach in German and English, we also expect relevant professional experience, of which at least two years are professional work with post-photographic image generation, as well as teaching experience (in and out of a university setting).
Exceptional abilities in narrative media, artistic research and writing, and/or coding are highly desirable. The position requires a high level of motivation for ongoing development in these fields. Optimal would be a person who critically reflects the ethical/societal responsibility of design and the generation of digital imagery, as well as an openness for equality, diversity and who brings intercultural abilities to the mix.
Ideally the candidate is comfortable working in interdisciplinary settings, is well connected in their professional environment, and brings active (and in person) dedication to academic administration tasks.
