You will complement the Leadership, Work and Organisation (LWO) Subject Group’s existing management offerings. In connection with this, we would expect the successful candidate to undertake socially relevant and important research that forms a critical connection with your teaching and addresses current and future problems. We are seeking passionate researchers who look for opportunities to collaborate across management fields and disciplines.

It covers the areas of Management and Organisation studies; Work, Employment and HRM; and Strategy, International Business and Society.
Your passion will come across in your teaching and support for the student experience at all levels. The University has developed an Academic Job Summary Guidance document which summarises the range of activities that academic colleagues may be expected to perform.
For the position of Lecturer in Management / International Business / Ethics, Responsibility and Sustainability you will evidence research activity and the potential to conduct research that demonstrates international standards of excellence in terms of originality, significance and rigour and contribute to the research profile of the subject group.
You must have a PhD in a Management or a Management-relevant subject. Your previous experience, and future contribution at Newcastle, may include teaching undergraduate, postgraduate and / or post-experience modules and capstone projects.
