The role of Head of Risk and Resilience is crucial in building, maintaining and improving the University’s Risk Management and Resilience arrangements.

Responsible for leading the University’s Risk Management, Business Continuity and organisational resilience strategies, you will ensure that UEA is equipped to identify and manage risks effectively, maintain operational continuity during disruption and comply with audit and regulatory obligations. 

As a key advisor to the Senior Leadership Team, you will embed and mature a proactive culture of risk awareness and resilience planning across the University, as well as lead the continual enhancement of the University’s disaster recovery and incident response capabilities.

With substantial experience in risk management, business continuity, or resilience at a strategic level, you will also have strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills with experience working across complex organisations. You will be a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCI) or a Member of the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) (or equivalent) and have experience in incident response and crisis management planning.

This full-time post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
