The Liverpool School of Architecture (LSA) is seeking to make a fractional (0.5FTE) fixed term appointment (until January 2030) to teach and undertake scholarly activities in Architecture and the visual arts, to cover the externally funded research of a senior colleague.
We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher and scholar at Lecturer level Grade 7 (Teaching and Scholarship), who will contribute to studio and design teaching across the school. Depending on experience, the successful candidate may also be asked to contribute to other modules as directed by the Head of Department.
You will join our teaching teams and contribute to studio design teaching on our professionally accredited courses (BA in Architecture/Part 1 and Master of Architecture/Part2), as well as supervising dissertations and acting as an academic advisor. Depending on experience and expertise, you may also be asked to contribute to lecture-based modules in humanities, technology or professional practice.
Suitable candidates may be invited to join CAVA - the Centre for Architecture and the Visual Arts or another of the LSA research clusters.
