You will be working with Professor Sorin Baiasu and other members of his project 'Kantian Justice: A Desert-sensitive Responsibility-enhancing Theory' a project selected by the European Research Council and funded by the UK Research and Innovation.
The project is designed to formulate a new model of distributive justice in response to growing economic disparities globally. The project is designed to produce not only significant scientific impact (a new research agenda and opening up new avenues for research), but also socio-political - it promises to break the cycle of structural economic injustice and to contribute to a fairer and more stable society.
You will have MA/MSc/MPhil level qualifications (or equivalent) ideally in philosophy or a cognate discipline.
The role may also be considered as a job share with the approval of the line manager. This position is offered on a fixed term basis until September 2026.
