The Finance Team is a significant part of the Estates Services Department, which manages the University’s vast property portfolio, including its buildings, commercial properties, and residential lettings. The Finance Operations team plays a vital role in handling the department’s significant financial transactions while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strong customer service.

About the Role
As the Finance Operations Assistant, you will support the University’s day-to-day financial operations across both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. You will help manage transactions involving suppliers and tenants, ensuring payments, income, and reconciliations are processed accurately and in line with internal controls.
You will work closely with colleagues across Estates Services, providing guidance, resolving queries, and ensuring compliance with University regulations.
This is a varied and collaborative role where you'll also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Team.
