Edinburgh Law School is seeking an interim Teaching Services Manager to support the Student and Academic Services Team for a period of 12 months. Reporting to the Head of Student and Academic Services, the post-holder will be responsible for teaching operations and academic administration across a range of taught programmes and courses generating around 12k student enrolments each year.
This post combines the need for excellent problem solving and prioritisation skills, a customer-focused approach and the ability to promote successful working relationships with students, colleagues and stakeholders. The role works in close partnership with the Student Support Manager to deliver a holistic student and academic support service from enrolment to award.
This post is fixed-term (for 1 year) and full-time (35 hours per week).
We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working, though candidates should be aware that the role typically requires at least 4 days working on site in Old College in order to provide practical support and visible leadership to the team.
The salary for this post is at Grade UE07: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum.
The School of Law strives to be a diverse and inclusive community. We particularly welcome applications from candidates belonging to groups that have been traditionally under-represented in the field.
