The University of Roehampton is recruiting to the role of an Academic Services Manager to join our already established and growing team at the beautiful Southlands Campus and also an Academic Services Manager in our School of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences also based at the main University site.
It is essential that candidates have experience of line management with strong leadership skills, have worked in Higher Education administration for several years and have worked extensively to support senior management within a School or Faculty environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on delivering excellence, has pride in their ability to multitask and who will prioritise continuous improvement. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues from across the wider university, including academic and central administration teams. You will lead a medium sized academic support team and be familiar with all aspects of student and wider HE administration. You will be expected to have a high level of understanding of the student-related academic cycle and related administrative processes, including specifically the assessment processes and the underpinning regulations.
