The Head of Employee Experience is expert in all matters related to employee experience to help achieve University of Warwick’s long-term strategic priorities.
The Head of Employee Experience plays a pivotal role in delivering the University’s People Strategy, which aims to attract, develop, retain and support the very best people in a diverse and inclusive environment. The role leads the development and delivery of University-wide employee experience initiatives that align with and drive forward the Warwick People Strategy. The role develops and delivers frameworks to enhance staff engagement, inclusion and wellbeing, fostering a workplace where all staff feel a strong sense of belonging and purpose.
The People Strategy and Insights Centre of Excellence (CoE) plays a pivotal role in shaping University of Warwick’s overall People Strategy & Culture, working closely with the Leadership teams to design and develop this. They leverage internal and external insights to identify and anticipate trends, ensuring that University of Warwick remains future-focused. The CoE actively promotes people changes and collaborates with other CoEs and the broader People Function to nurture a positive employee experience. They utilise insights and analytics for strategic workforce planning and engage with employees to inform decision-making. They are responsible for organisational design, development, and projects, driving people change initiatives to enhance University of Warwick's effectiveness and efficiency in achieving its long-term strategic priorities.
About You
You will have proven experience of leading employee experience, engagement and/or cultural transformation programmes in large complex organisations.
You will have a strong understanding of the links between employee experience, organisation design and strategic workforce planning.
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and inspire multidisciplinary teams are essential.
Experience with people analytics, engagement metrics, and qualitative insight to drive improvement and inform strategy will underpin success in this role.
