- THE ROLE -
We seek to recruit an exceptional individual as a Research Associate for the NW Depth project at Ulster University, Derry~Londonderry. The postholder will join an interdisciplinary team of academics and cross-border external actors from across education. The role will include supporting research on digital skills and informing curriculum development. It will also involve evaluating the impact of the training on the learners, employers, and other stakeholders in the region, using a variety of different methodologies and stakeholders. This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join a team that will deliver real impact across the North-West of Ireland in terms of digital skills through high-quality research activities.
The project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) – led by Atlantic Technological University in partnership with Ulster University, North-West Regional College, and Donegal Education and Training Board as part of the North-West Tertiary Education Cluster (NWTEC). The project has secured nearly €10 million to support digital skills among learners in the North-West region.
- ABOUT YOU -
The postholder will be required to have:
- A PhD (or near completion, i.e. thesis submitted) in any business, law, or related social science discipline.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Employability, Skills Development, Economic Development, Quantitative Data and/or Qualitative Data.
- Experience in data collection and analysis, using primary and secondary data sources.
