- THE ROLE -

The School is seeking a motivated and ambitious Lecturer to join our teaching team and contribute to the Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Group. The School would encourage applicants who have an expanding academic profile and those who aspire to generate outputs of international significance through both teaching and research. As the School itself aims to put in place significant strategies that align with the new GPhC standards for the initial education and training of pharmacists, the successful candidate will form part of an academic team that contributes to sector-leading teaching across a broad range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The post will be located in the Faculty of Life and Health Sciences on the Coleraine campus.
 
The post holder will support staff as they develop and enhance the academic curricula and support Ulster University through a range of associated duties, as deemed appropriate. They will also contribute to the administrative functions of the School and, where possible, work alongside colleagues involved in research themes and activities currently active within the School.

- ABOUT YOU -

- MPharm or BSc degree or equivalent (at first or upper second-class honours in an area of the pharmaceutical sciences that is closely related to the nature of the post).
- PhD in an area closely related to the nature of the post, such as Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
