The Otago Business School at the University of Otago invites applications for a permanent, full-time Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Pūkenga/Pūkenga Matua) position in Entrepreneurship, commencing at the start of the 2026 academic year.

The Otago Business School is AACSB- and EQUIS-accredited, offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across seven departments.
In 2022, we launched the Bachelor of Entrepreneurship (BEntr) - a multidisciplinary, flexible degree designed for students across Commerce, Arts, Science, and Health Sciences. The BEntr core includes six entrepreneurship papers and two electives, blending theory with applied learning and community engagement. The programme aims to accelerate ventures that address global challenges.

The role
We seek a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the BEntr teaching team and contribute to research, teaching, and service (40/40/20 split). The successful candidate will be based in one of the Business School’s departments, depending on their research expertise and teaching responsibilities.
