The Role
We are recruiting to the role of Maintenance Supervisor to join our dedicated and agile maintenance team. This is an exciting time to join the team as they play a key role in supporting the University to deliver on its ambitious estates strategy over the next 5 years.
Key responsibilities will include line managing the maintenance team; Holding responsibility for daily operational management of the team and tasks; Leading on implementing planned preventative maintenance; Liaising with on site contractors; Managing schedules and relationships of external contractors; and deputising for the Head of Maintenance and Facilities when required.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in managing a team and employee related matters, multi trade capabilities and understanding of HVAC systems, exemplary customer service skills, and prior experience handling health and safety matters in relation to maintenance.
