As Assistant Head of Academic Registry, you will be the College’s senior functional lead in this area, working closely with University Registry colleagues to ensure our operational voice shapes institutional policy and process.
Leading a team of Programme Administration Managers, you will embed consistent, compliant, and high-quality practice across all programmes. Your work will span enrolment planning and delivery for a diverse student body, governance of student records, statutory reporting (including HESA and HESES returns), immigration compliance, and attendance monitoring. As part of UAL’s Student Records and Data Quality network, you will play an active role in shaping best practice across the University.
This is an opportunity to combine strategic influence with operational leadership, making a tangible impact on the student experience and the efficiency of our academic administration.

As a proven and confident leader, you set objectives, allocate resources effectively, and guide teams to deliver high standards of service. You communicate complex policies and procedures with clarity and precision, ensuring information is accessible and understood by colleagues at all levels. Sharing your knowledge is integral to your approach, whether through formal training, structured briefings, or day-to-day professional guidance.
