The Department of Chemical Sciences is seeking to recruit an Associate Professor B (Specific Purpose, 5-Year Term) in Pharmaceutical Formulation to support its teaching and research mission.
We are seeking a researcher with a strong academic profile who will contribute to our vibrant and cohesive Department, which is recognised nationally and internationally for excellence in research, teaching, and societal impact. Candidates for this post must hold a primary degree in chemistry or a related area, together with a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, materials chemistry, or medicinal chemistry. Consideration will be given to candidates whose research aligns with one or more of the Bernal Institute research themes (www.bernalinstitute.com), namely Biomaterials, Process Engineering, Molecular/Nanomaterials, and Composite Materials. Candidates with a strong track record in other areas of chemistry, particularly in formulation, drug delivery, and materials, are also encouraged to apply.
