We have an exciting opportunity for a Effective Learning Adviser, working within the University’s central Student Learning Development team, serving the College of Science & Engineering (CoSE).
In the post, the successful candidates will deliver centrally effective, efficient lectures , online materials and one-to-one appointments to undergraduate and postgraduate taught students within the College of Science & Engineering; they will develop students’ academic literacies; supporting students within the College of Science & Engineering to become motivated, effective, independent learners.
They will generate innovative solutions to provide bespoke, academic literacies advice and to evaluate quality and impact of academic skills provision. They will also be the lead contact within Student Learning Development for the College of Science & Engineering, attending College Committees and contributing to the deployment of the University-wide Learning and Teaching Strategy.
This post is full time and open ended.
