Georgetown University in Qatar (GU-Q) invites applications for two open-rank teaching faculty positions in Instructional Arabic.
The successful candidate will hold an M.A. or Ph.D. in language instruction, linguistics, or applied linguistics. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellence in teaching Arabic at all levels, including experience working with heritage language learners. They will also have a record of effective instruction in skill-based courses (e.g., Business Arabic, Academic Writing) and in leading co-curricular and experiential learning activities that support Arabic language development. The expected start date of the position is August, 2026.
