This new full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role

The University of Exeter is on an exciting journey to expand our world-class education into the online space – a key commitment of our 2030 Strategy. We are seeking an Online Education Operations Manager to help lead this transformation and ensure our Centre for Online Education delivers a high-quality, market-led portfolio.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Education Portfolio Development, you will oversee the operational delivery of our online portfolio. You will work collaboratively across faculties and professional services, managing resources, budgets, and pipelines to ensure new programmes move smoothly from concept to market. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our online education, ensuring operational excellence and an outstanding student experience.

We’re looking for a confident and ambitious professional with a proven track record in operational management and matrix leadership. You will be adept at motivating and inspiring others, building strong partnerships, and navigating complex challenges to deliver results on time and within budget.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of a transformative project with real impact – helping the University of Exeter deliver accessible, innovative, and high-quality online education to learners worldwide.

Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
