Madingley Hall is part of the Institute of Continuing Education in the University of Cambridge, built in the 16th century, this elegant country house has 16 well-equipped meeting rooms, 62 ensuite bedrooms, a professional kitchen, licensed bar, coffee shop, Lodge House available as rentable short-stay accommodation and is set in 8-acres of grounds including superb Capability Brown designed gardens.
The Role
The purpose of this role is to provide supervision, cleaning and housekeeping services across Madingley Hall Estates (this includes but not limited to: Madingley Hall, Hotel bedrooms, conference areas and all public/communal areas), whilst providing help and support to the Housekeeping Manager with matters concerning trainings new starters, cleaning and supervise the smooth running of the housekeeping department.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will have managerial duties on the occasion when the Housekeeping Manager is away from the Hall and Estates' sites.
The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient cleaning operations within the hotel, lodge, conference areas and the public areas (Hall and Estates).
This is a full-time position: variable on a rota basis 5 out of 7 days, including weekend, evenings and public holidays. The core hours will be between 8AM to 4PM.
