About the role
Applications are invited for a Programme Administrator to join the Faculty of Science and Engineering. The post-holder will provide a high standard of student and academic programme support, answer enquiries in relation to degree programmes, module registration and timetables, and provide guidance to students.
About you
The successful applicant will be educated to 'A' Level (Grade C or above) or equivalent with GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C or above. You should be able to demonstrate experience of working within Higher Education or a similar administrative environment, good interpersonal skills including the ability to deal with students and staff at all levels, with a customer focused, proactive attitude. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent IT skills with a well-developed experience of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. A commitment to fairness, inclusivity and supporting student success is essential.
About the Faculty
The Faculty of Science and Engineering comprises of five Schools that deliver the research and education activity of the Faculty. The Faculty has a wide range of key interactions with partner organisations, including with overseas partners, other Government departments, research and education networks, funders and regulators. The role sits within the Professional Services job family, and the role holder is expected to be an active part of the University’s support staff family, working with academic colleagues across a wide range of responsibilities to help deliver its academic mission.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is full-time for a term of 12 months, with a starting salary of Grade 3, in the range of £33,263 - £40,015 per annum, inclusive of London allowance.
