The Retail department operates under the Facilities and Commercial Services directorate, which encompasses various campus support departments dedicated to enhancing the experience of students, staff, and visitors. Our department proudly runs two convenience stores on campus: Costcutter and the Students’ Store. Together, these stores cater to our vibrant campus community, handling an impressive average of 3,000 transactions daily.
As a Retail Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our busy store, performing essential day-to-day duties. Your responsibilities will include serving customers with a friendly demeanour, replenishing stock to ensure our shelves are well-stocked, and maintaining a clean and inviting shopping environment. The primary goal of this role is to deliver exceptional customer service that enriches the campus experience.
This position offers 20 hours of work per week, over 52 weeks a year. The ideal candidate should be flexible with regards to their availability, as shift patterns may include some weekends, early mornings, and late evenings to accommodate the needs of our bustling campus community.
