The role
As a Senior HROD Advisor you will have the opportunity to join a team of Senior Advisors responsible for the delivery of high-level specialist employee relations and related workforce policy advice, in a large trade unionised organisation, contributing to the provision of an effective, timely, pragmatic and professional employee relations environment for the university.
You will work collaboratively as part of the HROD service, ensuring operational excellence and consistency of practice. You will contribute to our drive for continuous improvement – using insight, data and fresh thinking, including digital tools, to innovate our approach to supporting our staff community.
You will be part of a dedicated team that is trusted, proactive and evolving, that works across and beyond the service to advise mangers and staff through complex casework, deliver policy and organisational change, enable performance and drive a culture that values staff wellbeing and community.

The Directorate of Human Resources and Organisational Development (HROD) plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the University meets its strategic objectives. We provide professional guidance and operational support to meet the evolving people management needs of the University.
Our staff are skilled practitioners with a broad range of experience which they apply on a daily basis. We have a strong multi-disciplinary focus and provide all key HROD functions in-house.
