Main Purpose of the Role 

You will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless planning, coordination, and delivery of projects and programmes. Your work will directly contribute to the high quality and consistency of our outputs, strong client relationships, and the operational excellence that underpins our brand. 

You will provide robust project and programme support, working closely with internal teams, clients, and external associates. You will also be a key point of contact for clients, helping to create and maintain positive working relationships and proactively address risks and challenges. 

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, relationship-driven, adaptable, and motivated by variety and growth.

About You

The role holder should have experience of working in or with the Higher Education sector, be highly organised, have excellent communication skills, be responsive, intuitive, creative and able to work effectively with minimal supervision. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience of providing high-quality project or programme support in a busy, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Experience of managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities. 
  • Experience of working effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver results. 
  • Proven ability to anticipate and respond to risks 
  • Experience of identifying opportunities for business growth or client development in previous roles (even if not in a formal sales role).

Pay and Conditions

This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Our team is offered a level of flexibility to enable everyone to bring their best to work and home.  We will explore any pattern of work that meets business needs. 

Our team all work remotely.  It is important to know you would need to be able to travel to London at relatively short notice and occasionally for up to 5 days a week.  Strive Higher do not cover our team's travel expenses for any travel to or within the radius of the M25.  There may also be occasional travel to see our clients elsewhere in the country and, in this case, we would either make the arrangements for you or would reimburse you on receipt of an expenses claim.  

We offer a salary of between £38,000 to £48,000 (depending on experience), a bonus scheme which is dependent on company performance over the course of a year and an employer pension contribution of 6% of salary. We also offer 25 days’ annual leave, closure days between Christmas and New Year Bank Holidays and provide for special leave and flexible working arrangements, subject to company policy. Eligibility to work and live in the UK is essential.
