Associate Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Partner

Nottingham Trent University

About the Role

As part of a central Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) team at Nottingham Trent University (NTU), you will be responsible for helping to implement and embed NTU's EDI strategy and action plans. We are looking for a proven strong communicator, who is highly organised, a passionate advocate for EDI and who has the ability to demonstrate collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. You will be able to demonstrate knowledge and expertise to input and influence policies and strategic projects related to EDI and to ensure that local and university-wide EDI focused priorities are delivered for both our colleagues and our students. You will have experience of identifying EDI challenges and developing effective solutions towards those challenges.

You will lead on one or more EDI themes, for example disability, gender, LBGTQ+, race, as a specialist area and contribute to the planning and delivery of institutional priorities linked to your theme, for example Athena Swan Charter, Race Equality Charter, Disability Confident and Stonewall.

For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.

Interview date: 8th October 2025
