International students are extremely important to the University of Greenwich, and we are proud of our international reputation and of the diverse background from which our students originate. The university has an excellent record of accomplishment in international student recruitment and we are an institution of choice for applicants from all over the globe. We are offering the opportunity for a CAS Officer to join the International Office operations team on a fixed term basis, within the Marketing and External Relations Directorate. Based at our World Heritage Greenwich Maritime Campus, you will join an established CAS Team handling visa and immigration matters.
We are seeking to develop and improve the international applicant journey and increase international student numbers, whilst ensuring that the university remains compliant with UK immigration policies and standards and rigour are maintained. Successful applicants will be responsible for reviewing applications from students who require a Student visa to study in the UK, assessing them against current immigration policies and assigning a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to candidates who meet the relevant criteria. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of related processes, as we seek continuous improvement to ensure that our service remains consistent with the expectations of our applicants.
Successful candidates will be enthusiastic and motivated, and ideally hold prior knowledge of the Student Visa immigration system.
