About Us
Housed in the External Relations directorate, we look to bring together an integrated Communications & Engagement and Student Recruitment & Marketing service. The directorate is made up of a number of teams including Communications & Engagement, Marketing, Recruitment and Conversion, Outreach and Access, Design and Digital, Events and Advancement and the International Office. We are looking for team members who will be part of embedding an innovative practice to our external relations and enjoy working in an agile environment as we try and work towards a culture of the ‘continuous new’.
Working closely with all other teams in the Directorate, the primary focus of the UK Recruitment CRM Team is on delivering compelling, engaging and timely communication journeys to prospective students looking to join the University of East London.
About the Job
Reporting to the CRM and Conversion Manager, and working closely with two other officers, the role holder will play a crucial role in engaging and communicating with prospective students in their journey to enrolment.
Developing and implementing automated email and SMS campaigns, the CRM and Conversion Officer’s main duties include copywriting and designing email communications, segmenting audience data sets to ensure we’re sending to the correct audience and efficiently testing and proofing other officers work to ensure we’re sending out branded communications of the highest quality.

About You
The ideal candidate will be a perfect blend between the creative and the technical. You will anticipate the needs of prospective students at every stage of their journey and write compelling communications to meet their requirements.
A quick learner who is able to hit the ground running, experience of working with CRM systems (especially MS Dynamics) is desirable.
