During the off-the-job learning days, the apprentice will attend online and in-person training sessions with Westminster Adult Education Service, complete independent learning or write about their work for their portfolio of evidence, which is used in the end-point assessment.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, and be customer focused. Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise, excellent IT skills, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to take responsibility, demonstrate initiative and resolve problems, and ability to develop skills and work towards common goals as part of a team are essential. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in the archives & records management profession, and knowledge of and commitment to inclusive practice. Motivation and commitment to completing a three-year Level 7 apprenticeship is also required.

The supporting statement is an essential part of the selection process and thus a failure to provide this information will mean that the application will not be considered. An answer to any of the criteria such as "Please see attached CV" will not be considered acceptable.
